American Heart Association Go Red for Women

The American Heart Association needed a print campaign for their annual “Go Red For Women” Luncheon, which aims to increase awareness of heart disease in women. The package included a save-the-date card, an invitation and rsvp, a program for the event, event signage and more.

I created a theme around the “Go Red in Your Own Style” tagline that carried through all the collateral. Embellished typography and ornaments as well as unique folds and placement turned a simple 2-color mailer into a successful, fully-branded package. The identity was so successful, in fact, that they chose to use slightly modified versions of the original design for the next two events.

Charro Ride Booklets

Founded in 1961 as a special activity organization of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, the Scottsdale Charros are one of the largest philanthropic organizations in Scottsdale. They are responsible for Spring Training Baseball in Scottsdale, as well as numerous community programs.

Each Fall, community-spirited individuals are invited to participate in the annual Charro Ride; a 5-day riding adventure in some of the most scenic areas of Arizona.

The Ride Booklet is designed to provide info on the Ride locales, as well as rules of the ride, menus, and a rider directory. I have been responsible for the book design for four years running.
